Colophon

This site is typeset using the Atkinson Hyperlegible Font, from the Braille Institute of America. It's not only easy-to-read, but good-looking as well.

Headings are set in Merriweather, from Google Fonts. Note that all the fonts we use are stored locally, which means that Google doesn't track you, and pages open quickly. Win-win.

The server is Apache, which lets us use Apache's Server Side Includes for templating. (At some point that may change, but for now it's both stable, and relatively fast compared with, say, PHP.)

We use Git for version control, which lets us also use a simple `git push` command to deploy the site. It uses Steve's MakeStuff build utility package. It's mostly written in plain HTML, with occasional sections converted from Markdown.

Our contact form comes from www.freecontactform.com. It's free, though not open source, and GDPR-compliant sort of by default, since it's entirely hosted on this site.

Our mailing list, Naomi's Newsletter, is currently managed by Mailcoach.
